February 2008 Bishopstoke Carnival Queen, Lauren Grant took part in the Disneyland Paris Queen of Queens contest, where Carnival Queens from the U.K. compete to be overall Queen of the Queens.

Lauren looked beautiful in her powder blue gown with her long dark hair cascading around her shoulders; an outstanding beauty in every way.  The Judges had great difficulty in selecting the two young ladies to win.  Lauren was runner-up and was crowned “Maid of Honour” 

She has attended numerous Carnivals as Maid of Honour, from Ramsgate to Nuneaton and is always praising her village to all she meets.  Bishopstoke is well and truly on the “Map”!

This year`s carnival queen, Claudia Lopez, will also be taking part in the Queen of Queens contest at DisneyLand in Paris, which will be Sunday 25th  to Wednesday 28th January 2009.
